Looks good, just wanted to have a spare
I received a 20 pin ribbon cable for my Mingda Magician Max from GL Robotics and was surprised to find a used part when I opened the package. The standard "New" cable has a sheathing/covering and a type of double sided tape for installation purposes. This cable had all of that removed except for some random glue. I paid only $2 for the cable plus shipping of $6. I used the cable and it works. My concern is, How Long will it last. Not real happy about this transaction, but really had no choice GL Robotics is supposed to be the Mingda service arm in the United States, I hope you can do a better job in the future.
Mingda has very limited supply of parts for the original Max so we are taking complete printers we have and breaking them down to supply parts. You have a unused cable. We were just trying to help you out. Now we have a good printer without the cable I can't sell. The first generation cables would fatigue and break if a customer moved it along the X axis at each extreme end, especially on the right side. The cable will last longer if you orient the print along the y axis as much as possible.
Functions great, but one of the screw tabs broke off shortly after installing. Wound up putting the new sensor in the old casing, which has been working well so far.
